Entry Level Baker

Nuflours is a Seattle gluten free bakery that is rapidly growing! We are seeking part-time and full-time entry-level bakers to assist in finishing pastries, including cutting, frosting and filling a variety of products, and packing pastry for wholesale distribution. Ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of baking principles and the ability to read and interpret recipes and instructions. 

Be a part of an exciting, locally-owned company. This is a great entry-level position for someone interested in entering the baking business. Provided its a good fit there are multiple opportunities for advancement. Must have good time management skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and with a team. Must be able to work on weekdays and weekends based on business needs. Must be 18 years of age and have a food handler's permit.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:
-pastry finishing, cutting, frosting, filling
-inspecting product
-packaging product
-ingredient preparation, as assigned

-bakery cleaning, as assigned
-dishes

Job Requirements:
-Ability to work up to an 8 hour shift
-Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
-Ability to project switch efficiently & timely
