Our Methods

At Nuflours, we're committed to using high-quality, locally sourced and naturally gluten free ingredients. Using our proprietary blend of sorghum, millet, tapioca and potato flours, we continuously develop and redevelop recipes that delight the gluten free and surprise the gluten full eater. Our facility is certified gluten free; additionally, the facility is rice free and peanut free, many products are also corn free and soy free. Dairy free, egg free and vegan options are available.

We're hungry for sustainability! In our bakery we

  • use verified non-gmo ingredients and organic, if possible.

  • prioritize our regional farmers, by buying direct, local and in-season produce.

  • serve our treats in compostable boxes

  • minimize our trash with focus on recycling & composting

History

Nuflours was founded in 2011 where we began selling at a few farmers markets. Since then, we've grown to include up to seven area farmers markets, wholesale to area cafes & restaurants, and made-to-order services, such as wedding and birthday cakes.

In December 2013, we began renovations on a seventy-seven year-old bakery space and opened to the public in October 2014. The space was designed by Moss Interior Design and build out completed by Armstrong Contracting
